Just got back yesterday from the weekend in Savoie France. Nestled among the beautiful French Alps, this area is merely an hour from Geneva Switzerland where I flew into. My host Jean-Marc Razafindranary the president of the Youth and Children's Committee of the FEEB (French Baptist Union) took me in to stay with his wonderful family. All day Saturday I had the privilege to present Horizons to the General Secretary Marc Deroeux and other members of the Federation Committee. It was a great day of strategizing and preparations of some mentors for the HORIZONS program to roll out in France.
After a great day of planning we had a wonderful meal together with my hosts family. Sunday I had a chance to worship with the Baptist Church of Savoie and speak to the youth class. We had a fun time together and it was fun chatting with youth again. After Sunday Jean-Marc showed me from a distance Mont Blanc the highest peak in Europe. It was a breathtaking day with leaves turning. It was a fast and packed trip but I was so pleased with the enthusiasm to use HORIZONS in France! Merci!
