HORIZONS NEWS! Lecture Series a Success!

We are pleased to announce that the lecture this past Monday with Arthur Brown went very well!  We had 20 in attendance and there was some very good discussion around the topic of managing risky behaviour of youth.

We are pleased to announce that there will be THREE more lectures for March, April and May... the topics and speakers will be announced NEXT week!

HORIZONS LIVE will be in Croatia this weekend for a Leadership Training Retreat with the Baptist Youth of Croatia (OMV).

RESCHEDULE OF LECTURE - 21st of February 7pm (CET)

Due to technical difficulties with the internet connection in Lebanon we have rescheduled the Future Present Lecture on Risk Taking Behaviour and Youth by Arthur Brown based at the Arab Baptist Theological Seminary in Beirut.

The lecture will now be held on Monday, February 21at 7pm CET.

Thanks for your understanding and for those who missed it... this is a second chance to catch a great seminar!

Growing Leaps and Bounds

HORIZONShas been steadily growing with almost 70 participants now registered as either mentors in training or those looking for individual training. Soon we will have a Russian speaking mentor added to our team in the person of Sasha Cheprasov who is a Russian born youth worker trained at IBTS in Prague and in Scotland, now serving in Saint John, New Brunswick Canada. Also the Norwegian Baptist Youth Department are translating Horizons into Norwedgian and will soon be available for mentor training. Several other processes are in the works with Austria, Bolivia, Canada to name a very few.
